Laying waste to their enemies with their powerful breath attacks, the rulers of Herid command fear and respect. Dragonborn are large, scaly humanoids that resemble dragons of legend. It is thought that dragonborn are either the creation of, or children of dragons.

Pride and Honor

Constantly looking to test and improve themselves; dragonborn are a warrior culture and follow a strict code of honor. Many dragonborn find their self worth in their prowess. Whether that be with a sword or a spatula. Besting a dragonborn, especially in front of its allies, is a quick way to gain a life long enemy.

Traits

Ability Scores: Your Strength score increases by 2, and either your Wisdom or Charisma score increases by 1.
Size: Medium, Dragonborn average 5' 8" to 6' 7" in height and typically weigh in excess of 250 lbs. Females tend to be larger than males.

Breath Weapon. You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. It deals damage in an area according to your ancestry. When you use your breath weapon, all creatures in the area must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your ancestry. The DC of this saving throw is 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th, and 5d6 at 16th level. After using your breath weapon, you cannot use it again until you complete a short.
