Deva

Spark of the Divine

Believing themselves to be the reborn souls of angels, deva are convinced of their divine purpose. These tall humanoids often adorn themselves in flowing robes, elaborate jewelry and wing motifs.

Memories of a Thousand Lifetimes

Some deva are plagued with powerful visions and nightmares. These are believed to be memories of a past life. Almost always, these memories prove to be fleeting. Drifting just on the edge of consciousness. Sometimes, they arrive in full force, causing a deva to wake drenched in sweat and terror.

Holy War

Deva view the tiefling as an affront to their divine right. Though they won’t admit it, tiefling are clearly the spawn of devils. Many deva would want nothing more than to see them wiped out or at least placed under confinement. In fact, many races, if not all might do better under the rule and guidance of the deva.
